The famed Pangkor Island is only a 30 minutes ferry ride from Lumut, a town on the west coast of West Malaysia. It used to serve as a refuge for pirates and adventurous seamen. I still evokes adventure, and calms and pampers with its leisurely atmosphere of quaint fishermen's villages, lush vegetation, fresh air, many stretches of pristine beaches, vibrant tropical forests, and numerous other attractions which are still unspoilt.
